Has anyone tried the abs diet? Does it work?I am looking for something to jumpstart my weight loss. I have been on weight watchers for a long time and I exercise, but I seem to be at a standstill. Has anyone tried the abs diet for women? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Well any thing works as long as you put it to work. You have got to eat right and do the exercises. May take some hard work but its worth it and obtainable. There is a great program/ book out there its called The Truth About Abs. I strongly recommend you check it out. Check the review here

@kunigas123 focus on your diet….i dont know your height weight of current body mass index but if i did i could prob let you cheat off what works. First off stop running everyday…Youll ruin your knees and really need to alternate “in general” the types of cardio you do. Bike Riding skateboarding is good, and boxing bags, etc…….develop a mealplan for eveyday that sustains a healthy body, but not defiicient. tuna,almonds,whey protein&h20 organic fat free milk, turnips greens, veggies,fruits
My trainer tested me today and I am currently at 9%. We are now starting to focus on more strength training to make me pop more. More weight and high reps. 1200-1400 cal diet at 5’6 130 rather than 147. It started as weight loss and got really serious. Like Forrest Gump said. “well I got that far, so I figured I’d just keepon goin’”. And thats what he did. He ran clear cross the state of Alabama. Shit happens.
i think diet is the most effective to cut out the fat and reshape a good abs and work adominal abs wiht empy stomach…..,belive me guys thats may teknik before i im taking my breakfast i finished first working my abs.and you know i get it as fast as two months

hmm, well I’m currently using the Abs Diet and it’s working at an extreme rate, I lost 30+ pounds in about a month. Just follow the exercise plan, eat healthy and cut down on what you eat. Btw it won’t hurt to eat something not the diet like pizza once a week but only when your like 6 weeks into the plan. So just keep at it people and you’ll get results, It always helps to use the heavier stuff if your serious… I’m hurling 25 lbs Dumbells like nothing and about to go to 40 lbs. Just do it!
Not going to happen. Having a fit, toned body takes commitment, and it takes time. You must first get there by healthy eating and exercise. Spot training by doing a lot of crunches isn't necessarily going to help! 50 crunches done properly is going to get you a lot further than 200 done improperly. If you are doing 200, and haven't been otherwise exercising, my guess (and I concede I could be wrong) is that you are not doing them properly. If you do ab work properly, you should fatigue before you get to 200 reps.
We would all like to look good in less than 2 weeks….and unfortunately, most of us think that if we starve ourselves and lose weight, we will. When we lose weight too rapidly, we lose muscle, which makes our problem worse because muscle is necessary for a toned look.
Perhaps you could replace the meat with nuts.
I’ve been running for two weeks everyday 3 miles in 30 minutes. I burn about 600 calories (not alot), but over those two weeks i lost 2Kg. I didn’t look different and it could have been that i lost muscle instead of fat. Anyway, i gave up on that. I coudn’t feel my legs and i guess i can do just fine without abs as long as i have back, chest, biceps and triceps

The Abs Diet will not make it difficult for you to gain muscle mass, as long as you are correctly following the program . David Zinczenko actually emphasizes muscle building workouts and all of the abs diet powerfoods are great for gaining muscle, particularly the whey protein powder and peanut butter.
I really don't understand why you are even worried about this. You may not have read the actual book, and may have just read a few things about it on the internet. If so, check a copy out of your local library.
There is a book by the same author called 'Abs Diet for Women.' It's a green book. I bought it and read it, but there were just too many guidelines that I got lost in it. I like for any diet I do to be easy and straight-forward. But there is a book just for women if you'd like to try it.

I'm not familiar with the Abs diet, but increase your pure water intake. Wash twice daily with a moisturizing cleanser and exfoliate once a week with a lufa.
I love the idea that there are certain “power foods” you can choose for better abs. I have always had a curvy shape but now I am trying for an athletic body type. I am working on my fitness and looking to change my diet. Advice like this makes sense and gives me hope.
